Glaucoma Services

Our glaucoma services are designed to protect and preserve your vision through early detection, comprehensive management, and advanced treatment options. Glaucoma, often known as the "silent thief of sight," is a group of eye conditions that can damage the optic nerve, leading to irreversible vision loss if not treated promptly.

Symtoms

Gradual Loss of Peripheral Vision

One of the earliest signs is the gradual loss of side (peripheral) vision, which may go unnoticed until it becomes severe.

Tunnel Vision

As glaucoma progresses, you may experience tunnel vision, where your central vision remains clear but peripheral vision is significantly reduced.

Eye Pain

In acute angle-closure glaucoma, you may experience severe eye pain, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

Headaches

Sudden and severe headaches, especially around the eyes, can be a symptom of acute angle-closure glaucoma.

Blurred Vision

Intermittent blurring of vision, especially in low light conditions, can be a sign of glaucoma.

Halos Around Lights

Seeing halos around lights, especially at night, can indicate elevated intraocular pressure.

Redness in the Eye

Persistent redness in the eye, not related to other known causes, can be a symptom.

Nausea and Vomiting

In acute cases, the increase in intraocular pressure can cause nausea and vomiting.
